Our Own Accessibility Report
Most accessibility companies ask you to take their word for it. Here are our own test results — every page, including what we have not fixed yet.
The result
38 of 38 pages — zero automated violations
On 6 September 2026 we tested every page of this website with axe-core, the same engine behind Deque’s enterprise tooling and Chrome’s Lighthouse, against WCAG 2.0 A/AA, WCAG 2.1 A/AA and axe’s best-practice rules. We then checked, by hand, the things no automated tool can check.
One thing to be clear about before the numbers. Automated testing catches roughly a third of WCAG issues. A page with zero automated violations is not the same as an accessible page, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling you a scan. That is why the manual results and the outstanding list below matter more than the headline.

What is still outstanding
Nothing at present. Both items published in the first version of this report on 6 September 2026 have since been closed. We keep the record below rather than quietly deleting it.
Record of changes
- 6 September 2026 — closed. Exam Prep app: content outside landmarks. The shared A11ytek site bar at the top of the app held its logo and menu button in a plain container, leaving that content outside every landmark and harder to reach for anyone navigating by landmark. The bar is now a labelled navigation landmark. Verified with axe-core at desktop, 412px and 320px.
- 6 September 2026 — withdrawn, and we were wrong. Exam Prep app: three
h1headings. The first version of this report listed this as an open defect. It was not one. The Exam Prep app is a single page with three views — landing, study and pricing — and only one is displayed at a time, so exactly oneh1is ever visible to anyone. Our own count included the hidden views. No automated tool flagged it; we introduced it ourselves, published it, and are recording the correction here rather than removing it.
That second entry is the reason this page exists. An accessibility report that can only ever report good news is not a report. If we get something wrong about our own site, it goes here.
Two things automated testing did not catch
On 6 September 2026, before publishing this page, we found two real problems on our own site that every automated tool passed:
- The mobile menu could not scroll. On a phone, opening the Resources menu made it taller than the screen, and the bottom of it was unreachable — including the link to A11ytek Monitor and our own Free Report button. axe-core reported the page as clean. Found by using the site on a phone. Fixed the same day.
- A comparison table pushed a page sideways at 320px. A WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow failure on the Bulk PDF Generator page, invisible on a desktop and invisible to automated rules. Fixed the same day.
We publish these because they are the honest argument for what we sell. A scanner is necessary and it is not sufficient. The difference between a passing scan and an accessible website is a person who knows what to look for.

Do not take our word for any of the above — that is the entire point of this page.
- Run any scanner you like against this site: axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, or a competitor’s.
- Use our own free tools — the contrast checker, heading outline and alt-text bookmarklets work on any site, including this one.
- Unplug your mouse and navigate this site with the Tab key alone.
- Open any page on a phone and try every menu item.

How this report is produced
This site is monitored by A11ytek Monitor, our own scheduled scanning service — the same product our clients use. Automated results come from those scans. The manual checks are done by hand by a specialist holding CPWA (IAAP), encompassing CPACC and WAS.
